FORT COLLINS - A Fort Collins man accused of filming four naked girls – all of whom were 15 years old or younger – was ordered on Friday not to have contact with anyone less than 18 years old.
Police Sunday evening responded to a disturbance in which it was discovered that Jason Montgomery, 40, was allegedly photographing and recording video of four young females, according to an arrest affidavit.
Authorities say Montgomery knew the victims, all of whom were under the age of 15.
Montgomery gave the pornographic materials to authorities, and he later told police that he was attracted to young females, officers wrote in their report.
A judge on Friday clarified a protection order that has been levied against Montgomery. He is not to have contact with anyone less than 18 years old. Moreover, if he bonds out of jail, he must stay at least 50 yards away from the victims' residence.
Montgomery has been formally charged with four class-three felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of class-four sexual exploitation of a child. He has also been charged with four counts of felony invasion of privacy for sexual gratification as well as one misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.
Montgomery has requested representation from the public defender's office. His next court appearance is scheduled for April 11.
