The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office bomb squad detonated a backpack that a woman dropped off at the Federal Center in Lakewood Monday, claiming it had a bomb inside.

She was arrested by guards at the Federal Center after making the claim, and is being questioned by Lakewood Police.

The threat prompted authorities to close southbound Kipling Street between 6th Avenue and Alameda Avenue. Those roads have since reopened.
