Eric Gordon and the Houston Rockets have agreed on a four-year, $53 million contract, a person with knowledge of the negotiations told USA TODAY Sports.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the contract can't officially be signed until the NBA's moratorium periods lifts on July 7.
Gordon has career averages of 16.6 points, 3.3 assists and 2.5 rebounds, but he's dealt with various injuries throughout his eight seasons in the league. His Pelicans teammate, Ryan Anderson, also reached an agreement with the Rockets earlier in the day.
