A nationwide recall is underway on pain relieving cream because of its packaging.

The recall involves "Synodrin Lidocaine Maximum Strength Pain Relieving Cream" sold at Albertsons, Safeway, Rite-Aid, Giant, Harris Teeter, Meijer, Stop & Shop, Jet.com and Amazon.com between June and October 2017.

Manufacturer "Natural Solutions for Life" is issuing the recall because the cream's packaging is not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The cream was sold in a white jar with a blue label and packaged in a blue box with the UPC code 8-64751-00032-6.

No injuries have been reported, but consumers should keep the cream out of the reach of children and contact Natural Solutions for a free replacement cap.
