One of Colorado's most iconic and historic hotels will be closing for a major renovation.
The Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs will soon change owners and on the day that it happens at the end of January, the hotel will close.
The new owners are planning what it calls a comprehensive renovation.
There's no timetable set on when the hotel will reopen, but the managers say it will be for an extended period of time.
