KUSA — SEATTLE - The Glendale Raptors defeated the Seattle Seawolves on Saturday in the first professional away match for the Raptors.

The Raptors are now 2-0-0 in the first season of Major League Rugby.

Saturday's match was cold and rainy which resulted in a defensive battle.

“Seattle is an amazing team and we just wanted to keep putting them through the phases. We’re always happy to win," said the Raptors' Man of the Match Zach Fenoglio, on the Raptors' website.

The Raptors next play the Utah Warriors on Saturday, May 5 in Salt Lake City at 1:30 p.m. That game will be streamed on AT&T Sports Net.

The next home match for the Raptors is Sunday, May 13 at 6 p.m. vs. San Diego Legion at Infinity Park in Glendale. Tickets are available online at GlendaleRaptors.com.
