KUSA — It feels like fall with all of the fantastic moments we've seen so far in the high school football season -- now, if only the temperatures started to mimic fall, too.
The Saturday morning Prep Rally featured multiple standout highlights and a slate of great matchups. Mead and Roosevelt were voted the 9Preps Game of the Week, made even more competitive seeing as that it was a rival game, too. ThunderRidge -- new to the state's top 10 rankings in 5A -- hosted Horizon for its homecoming game, and 5A's No. 8 team Ralston Valley traveled to take on 4A's top ranked Loveland.
On the hardwood, a match-up between Ralston Valley and East volleyball provided a fun moment as identical twin sisters Jess Sponenberg and Tarah Olmsted coached against one another for just the second time in their lives.
