HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — When surprised with the Swag Chain and interviewed by Scotty Gange, Valor Christian's Brooke Wilson jokingly mentioned that she does most things at a very slow pace.
Although Brooke just won the 5A state cross country race at the Norris Penrose Events Center and broke the course record...by 8 seconds!
Wilson was surprised in her English class with the 9NEWS Athlete of the Week award.
