Sanders getting on the same page with the Broncos new receivers coach

Denver — One week after admitting that change takes time, Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders said that he and Zach Azzanni, the Broncos new wide receivers coach, are getting along just fine.

When asked about Azzanni on June 6th Sanders said they

butted heads at the beginning.

"Obviously, the new coach coming in, he has his ways, and I have my ways of doing it. It took me to go the two Super Bowls and two Pro Bowls. We butt heads, but at the end of the day we have a common goal and we want to win."

Sanders said the two had begun to work things out. Wednesday night at his foundation dinner, An Evening with Emmanuel Sanders, the receiver said things continue to progress.

"Today we got somewhere and he was showing me some hand combats and I was like 'oh ok coach you are absolutely right.' He was like, 'You know E I know a thing or two.' I was like, 'Alright you just keep warming me up and I'm going to keep listening to you as long as you're right,." So the chemistry is starting to get good there as well."

The Broncos wrap up their mandatory three-day mini camp on Thursday and then will take their "summer vacation." Broncos training camp begins in late July. Their preseason opener is on August 11th at home against the Minnesota Vikings, Case Keenum's former team.
