Del Rio announced the move on his twitter account where he wrote, "Officially decommitted from Oklahoma State, opening recruiting back up, #OKST is still one of the options #blessed."
The move by Del Rio comes after Oklahoma State offensive Coordinator Todd Monken was named Head Coach at Southern Mississippi.
Earlier this month Del Rio helped lead the Eagles to the Class 5A State Football Championship.
While he may still end up at Oklahoma State, Del Rio has offers from Colorado State, Oregon State, Florida State and North Carolina.
