A person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Boulder County Monday morning, according to a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson.
Trooper Lewis said his agency got the call about 11 a.m. of the crash at Diagonal Highway and Niwot Road in Longmont. The highway was closed for nearly six hours at the intersection - it reportedly reopened around 4:30 p.m.
Law enforcement has not identified the person who died nor what led to the wreck.
A separate person was taken to Boulder Community Health with unknown injuries.
