Colorado State Patrol said the crash happened near the line dividing Mesa and Garfield counties.

DE BEQUE, Colo. — Five people were injured in a crash involving 21 vehicles Friday morning on westbound Interstate 70 near De Beque.

The Colorado State Patrol said the crash was reported around 11 a.m. at milepost 65.5 in the westbound lanes of I-70. That's near the line dividing Mesa and Garfield counties.

Seventeen cars and four semi-trucks were involved in the crash. CSP said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
