FORECAST AT A GLANCE: An early morning cold front will keep Saturday's temperatures a little cooler than they have been along with breezy conditions on the Front Range.
The lowest temperature of the month was recorded at Denver International Airport at 43 degrees. From there, it will warm into the upper 70s with breezy conditions. Intermittent gusts could reach 20 mph in the Denver area.
Winds will continue to be stronger in the mountains and the northeast plains, but should start to subside around 3 p.m.
Sunday morning's temperatures should once again be in the middle 40s around the Denver area. If it does stay above 39 degrees, Denver could soon approach record territory for the longest stretch with temperatures at 40 degree or warmer.
The last 30-degree temperature of the spring came earlier than normal on May 5. That puts the current streak at 138 consecutive days at 40 degrees or above. The next chance for Denver to drop below 40, if it doesn't happen Sunday morning, might not come until October.
A sunny, dry and warm stretch of weather sticks around throughout the next workweek. Enjoy sunny skies and highs in the lower to middle 80s, Monday through Friday.
