Denver proclamation dedicates a day to cruising Federal Boulevard
Denver's war on cruising may have come to an end with a proclamation from the new, more progressive members of City Council. It wasn't all that long ago that police would break up cruising on Federal. Now Denver has declared August 25 "A Cruise Down Fedz Day." It's being recognized as a celebration for the Chicano community.
