Feds OK Colorado reinsurance program to lower rates
Approval gives Colorado federal tax dollars that will go to insurance companies to pay for expensive claims. In turn, the individual market that serves about 250,000 people in Colorado should be able to offer cheaper premiums, meaning more people can afford coverage.
