KUSA - Television and radio host Ryan Seacrest and other celebrities are coming to Colorado to unveil Children's Hospital Colorado's new multimedia broadcast studio.
The big reveal will take place Friday. It's the seventh pediatric hospital the Ryan Seacrest foundation has teamed up with to create a studio to produce fun and educational programs geared to kids. A new closed-circuit TV channel and radio station also part of it.
"A hospital is never a place you want to be, but having something like this, changes the whole experience," said Riley Ljungdahl, a Children's Hospital Patient Ambassador. "It's not just a hospital anymore, it's more of a playground."
Patients who can't leave their rooms to visit the studio will be able to interact virtually.
Access to the new channel will be available in patient rooms at Children's Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and both Children's Colorado North and South Campuses.
