DENVER — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in his apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver on Saturday afternoon.
Police said they were called to the apartment in the 1200 block of Logan Street around 2:45 p.m. Saturday. They said on Sunday morning that they are investigating the man's death as a homicide. He has been identified as David Harris, 40.
The coroner's office said he died of gunshot wounds with multiple blunt force injuries.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
