THORNTON - A 2-year-old girl reported missing Thursday afternoon has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
The Amber Alert for Kyley Phipps has since been canceled.
She was reported missing after her biological mother, Donetta Phipps, failed to surrender her to Thornton Police despite a court order to do so.
Thornton police were concerned about Kyley Phipps' safety.
The girl was found safe near the town of Friend, Nebraska, according to Thornton police.
Donetta Phipps was taken into custody following a chase with troopers that reached speeds of 115 miles per hour, Nebraska State Patrol said in a release.
