KUSA — Denver International Airport says February 2018 was the busiest February in Denver aviation history.

DIA says more than 4.3 million passengers passed through the airport in February, a 3.3 percent increase over February 2017.

“We are delighted to see continued growth in the number of passengers who visit [DIA], including an eight percent increase in international traffic compared to February last year,” said Denver International Airport CEO Kim Day, in a news release. “As more and more people pass through our gates, we’re adding capacity and amenities to meet the needs of our passengers and to further enhance their experiences while traveling.”

DIA announced in March that the airport was the fifth-busiest in the United States in 2017.
