ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — A person is dead after a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Arapahoe County Friday night.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said on X just before 10 p.m. Friday that deputies and Colorado State Patrol (CSP) troopers were on the scene of a serious traffic accident.
The sheriff's office said both directions of East Florida Avenue between South Alton Street and South Willow Street would be closed for several hours for the investigation.
Deputies later said the pedestrian had died. No information about the person has been released.
CSP is handling the investigation.
