Día de los Muertos Parade & Festival
DENVER — Denver's first Dia de Muertos Parade and Festival will be held Saturday. The parade steps off at 11 a.m. Saturday at 7th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive and make its end towards 13th Street and Mariposa near La Alma Lincoln Park. The Día de los Muertos Festival will take place at Denver's Civic Center Park from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festival will showcase food vendors, live music, drinks, exhibitors, catrina contest, house bouncers, altar exhibition, floats display, lowriders exhibition, giveaways, and international music.
Emma Crawford Coffin Races and Festival
MANITOU SPRINGS — After coming to Manitou Springs in search of a cure for her tuberculosis, Emma Crawford succumbed to the disease and was buried on a nearby mountain in 1891. After years of harsh winters and spring rains, Emma's coffin came racing down the mountainside. Some say she still haunts the area, but the only sure way to see Emma is to attend the coffin races in Manitou Springs. For 28 years, festivalgoers have been remembering Emma with a parade, coffin races and festival. This year's parade starts at noon Saturday with coffin races afterwards.

Westernaires Horsecapades
DENVER — Colorado's premier youth riding organization — the Westernaires — will present its annual Horsecapades extravaganza for three performances on Saturday and Sunday. The Westernaires will delight audiences with colorful and precise drill riding, world-class trick riding, true-to-history cavalry act, daring charioteers and more. Performances will be held at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the National Western Events Center. Grab your tickets to the Westernaires' annual show at Westernaires.org.
Guns N' Roses
DENVER — Guns N’ Roses will bring its North American tour to Ball Arena in Denver on Friday with special guest Ayron Jones. In addition to their tour, Guns N’ Roses recently debuted the new single “Perhaps.” Tickets for the Denver concert are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
Spooky Light Show
FEDERAL HEIGHTS — Denver's biggest Christmas drive-through light display is celebrating spooky season before the holiday season. Spooky Light Show has opened in the parking lot of Water World with millions of lights synchronized to Halloween music. From the creators of Christmas in Color, the drive-through display will be open through Tuesday, Oct. 31. Tickets can be reserved at SpookyLightShow.com for $30 per vehicle.
Arvada Trick or Treat Street
ARVADA — This Olde Town Arvada tradition returns Friday at 5 p.m. Bring your little monsters, goblins and ghouls to Olde Town Arvada for the free Trick or Treat event. Costume contests judging will take place in the square from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Greeley Trick or Treat Street
GREELEY — Downtown Greeley's Trick or Treat Street is scheduled for Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dozens of stores will be giving away treats and there will be spooky music playing while you walk through “Spook Alley” between the 8th and 9th Street plazas. Pumpkin decorating will take place on 8th Street while supplies last.
Halloween Safe Night
FIRESTONE — The Firestone Police Department hosts its annual Halloween Safe Night on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Firestone Regional Sports Complex. The event includes a trunk or treat line, inflatables, a trackless train, safety handouts and a food truck.
Tennyson Fall Fest
DENVER — The 8th annual Tennyson Fall Fest on Tennyson Street is Saturday with food, artisans, raffle, a pet parade costume contest and trick or treat. The festival outside Cesar Chavez Park and along Tennyson Street between 41st and 43rd Streets will have a variety of activities including local vendors and artisans, the 6th Annual Pet Parade Costume Contest, trick or treat and family activities.
Elizabeth Harvest Festival
ELIZABETH — The Elizabeth community will come together on Historic Main Street in Elizabeth for the annual Trick or Treat Street and Harvest Festival on Saturday. The fun day will have activities, vendors and trick or treating.
Cortez Pumpkin Fest
CORTEZ — The Cortez community will be out at Montezuma Park on Saturday for Pumpkin Fest. The day kicks off with a 5K Zombie Run at 9 a.m. There will be a costume contest, trick or treating, carnival, food and more. The family-friendly event runs until 3 p.m. Saturday.
Harvest Hoot at Children's Museum
DENVER — For three days, the Children's Museum will host a fall festival with pumpkins, straw bales and delicious goodies. Harvest Hoot offers Halloween crafts, games, Rocky Mountain Mini Train, monster carnival and more. Children's Museum's Harvest Hoot runs Friday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Big Jack’s Boo Bash
CASTLE ROCK — Outlets at Castle Rock host its first ever Big Jack's Boo Bash on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Castle Rock Fire and Rescue, Castle Rock Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department will be passing out ghoulish delights, and an interactive Halloween Scavenger Hunt happening throughout the property. Enjoy festive activities including a face painter and costume contest while listening to ghostly music from a DJ.

LAKEWOOD — Downtown Lakewood's annual Halloween event BooMarbegins at 12 p.m. Saturday. Bring your little monsters, witches, superheroes, ghosts, and princesses for an afternoon of fun, games, and trick-or-treating at participating stores.
BOO-rific Bash & Splash
LITTLETON — Foothills Park & Recreation District’s BOO-rific Bash & Splash runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday. This indoor trick-or-treating event allows children to dress in full costume, trick-or-treat among community business tables and enjoy activities. Swimming in the Ridge Pools is included in the festivities.
Trick or Treat Street
LONGMONT — The 44th annual Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat Street begins Saturday at 10 a.m. with a parade starting at Roosevelt Park. Attendees should dress in Halloween costumes, march on Main Street and visit downtown merchants for Trick or Treat Street immediately following the parade. Kids of all ages can be a part of this costume foot parade. No registration is required.
Munchkin Masquerade
BOULDER — Downtown Boulder's Munchkin Masquerade returns Halloween Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children 12 and under are welcome to stop by Treat Stops throughout the downtown Pearl Street district.
Fright Night at the Riverwalk
PUEBLO — The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk in Pueblo will hold its annual Fright Night on the Riverwalk on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will start at the Welcome Center and loop around the Riverwalk channel. In addition to candy giveaways, there will be a costume contest with prizes.
Halloween Walk
EVERGREEN — Bring your little creatures dressed in their best outfits to Evergreen's annual Halloween Walk. Candy is bought and given out by all of the participating downtown businesses for your family enjoyment from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Halloween on the Promenade
LOVELAND — Halloween on the Promenade takes place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in front of Rock Bottom. The first 1,000 kids dressed in costumes can get a free goody bag filled with candy and take-home activities. There will also be a dog costume contest.
Niwot’s Great Pumpkin Party
NIWOT — Costume up the kids, bring the kid-friendly dog, and head to downtown Niwot on Saturday for trick or treating, parade, doggie costume contest, hayrides and more. Shopkeepers in Old Town and Cottonwood Park West will be open to celebrate Halloween with treats for the trick or treaters and everyone is invited to participate in the costume parade.
Boo! on Briggs Street
ERIE — Trick or Treat in downtown Erie with a trunk or treat, Halloween costume contests and more on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. It's free for all ages although there's a fee for costume contest entry.
OCC Trick or Treat Street
COLORADO SPRINGS — Old Colorado City will host its annual trick or treating event from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Halloween Tuesday, Oct. 31. Look for participating Businesses throughout OCC with orange balloons.
Halloween Trail at Barr Lake
BRIGHTON — Barr Lake State Park and Friends of Barr Lake will hold its 11th annual Halloween Trail on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The walk will end with kids’ crafts and face painting at the Barr Lake Nature Center, plus hot beverages and snacks. The event is free to attend with a regular daily park pass or annual Colorado State Parks Pass. Register online here.

PUEBLO WEST — Pueblo West hosts its Halloween Bash 2023 on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Parks and Rec front parking lot, along Hahn’s Peak, for a free night of eerie enchantment, costume contest trophies, and devilish goody bag delights.
Tina — The Tina Turner Musical
DENVER — "Tina — The Tina Turner Musical" is the newest Broadway smash to tour to Denver's Buell Theatre. The musical follows the career of Tina Turner who became the Queen of Rock n’ Roll. Featuring Turner's most beloved hits, the electrifying musical will send you soaring to the rafters. The show plays the Buell Theatre through Sunday, Oct. 29. Boo at the Zoo
COLORADO SPRINGS — The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo begins its annual Halloween celebration this Friday. Boo at the Zoo will have fun trick-or-treat stations with candy made with sustainable palm oil to help protect wild orangutans. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes for the festivities which take place Friday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the next two weekends and on Halloween night. Trick or Treat Trail
DENVER — Denver has been transformed for "falloween" fun to celebrate all wildlife this month. Wild Fall at Denver Zoo features roaming costumed characters, creature-themed professional pumpkin carvings, festive food and spooky drinks, and special animal demonstrations that connect these supernatural beings to the real-life natural world. Wild Fall activities are free with daytime admission and take place during regular hours starting at 8:30 a.m. for members and 10 a.m. for the general public. The zoo's timed, ticketed Trick or Treat Trail takes place Friday and Saturday.
ZooBoo at the Pueblo Zoo
PUEBLO — Pueblo Zoo is ready to celebrate Halloween on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The family-friendly Halloween event offers trick or treating, crafts and games, animal close encounters, costume parade and more. For tickets, head to PuebloZoo.org.
Disney in Concert: Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas
DENVER — What’s this?! Back by popular demand, the Colorado Symphony is ready to perform Tim Burton’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The full-feature film will be projected on the big screen, accompanied by Danny Elfman’s score played live by the Colorado Symphony. Families are welcome and costumes are encouraged. The concert is Friday and Saturday.
Halloween Spooktacular
DENVER — The Colorado Symphony's annual Halloween Spooktacular is a family-favorite concert featuring music from films, television and more. Costumes are encouraged and even the musicians get in on the festivities at Boettcher Concert Hall at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. 4 Seasons Marketplace
ARVADA — 4 Seasons Marketplace in Arvada is a pumpkin patch and family destination for fall. The marketplace has a variety of pumpkins, pumpkin painting, farm animal visits, and family activities. Adult admission is free and children can enjoy all activities for $15 and get to take home a pumpkin as a souvenir.
Nick's Garden Center Fall Fest
AURORA — Nick's Garden Center and Farm Market in Aurora hosts a fall festival every day in October. There are games, rides, mazes, train rides, photo opportunities, straw maze, putt-putt golf course, pedal karts, an inflatable obstacle course and pumpkin patch.
Miners’ Pumpkin Patch
COLORADO SPRINGS — The Western Museum of Mining & Industry has opened its 2023 Miners' Pumpkin Patch. Admission includes unlimited play at the pumpkin patch games, hayrides and gold panning. The patch will be open Saturdays through Oct. 28.
Mile High Farms
BENNETT — A traditional Colorado fall event is back east of Denver. Mile High Farms is open for autumn with two corn mazes, antique tractor ride, pumpkin patch, barrel cart rides, bounce houses, farm animals, entertainment, playground and more. Anderson Farms Fall Festival
ERIE — The fall festival at Anderson Farms just may be your one-stop-shop for all things autumn. The festival features a 25-acre corn maze, wagon rides, pumpkin cannon, combine slide, kids maze, backyard pedal karts, wooden train, tire mountain, fire pit, farm animals, sand diggers and more. Fritzler Farm Park
LaSALLE — Fritzler Farm Park is open for the season with more than 15 attractions plus its famous corn maze. There will be pedal go-carts, pumpkin patch, human foosball, tetherball, ball zone, slide mountain, face painting, yard games, beer garden and more. Fritzler Farm Park will remain open through Sunday, Oct. 29. The farm's haunted attractions and "Scream Acres" begins at dusk. Tickets can be purchased at FritzlerFarmPark.com.
Maize in the City
THORNTON — If you're looking for a fun, fall event, consider Maize in the City in Thornton. There is a 20-acre corn maze, mini maze, barrel train ride, corn launcher, petting zoo and more. Admission to the Maize in the City site is free with attraction ticket prices varying. The site will be open various days through Tuesday, Oct. 31. Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms
LITTLETON — If you're looking for a festive fall tradition, consider the Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms. The seven-acre corn maze corn maze is perfect for adults, while the little ones can explore the corn mini-maze. There will also be barrel train rides, escape rooms, food vendors and more. The Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms will be open at various times through Sunday, Oct. 29. Tickets can be found at BotanicGardens.org.
Haunted Field of Screams
THORNTON — Haunted Field of Screams, Colorado’s largest haunted attraction, has opened for the 2023 season. Built into a 40-acre corn field, the attraction delivers an indoor and outdoor haunt experience along the famously haunted Riverdale Road. Haunted Field of Screams is open select days through Halloween.

Magic of the Jack O' Lanterns
LITTLETON — A Halloween lights festival is returning to Hudson Gardens in Littleton for a third year. Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns features a family-friendly glowing trail of more than 7,000 hand-carved pumpkins as well as light show displays such as a nautical seascape, a pirate ship, dinosaurs, and dragons. The festival runs select nights through Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Fright Fest
DENVER — Elitch Gardens' annual Halloween event is back with a vengeance. The Fright Fest fall festival kicks off Saturday for five weekends of hair-raising fun. Elitch Gardens Fright Fest has thrills and chills for ghouls of all ages. Guests can enjoy Fun by Day and Fright by Night, plus all their favorite theme park rides. Victorian Horrors at the Molly Brown House
DENVER — Molly Brown House Museum is hosting the 30th annual Victorian Horrors on weekends this October. Gothic horror tales by well-known but long-gone authors are told throughout the house as portrayed by acclaimed local actors. This year’s offerings include stories from the likes of H.G. Wells and Edgar Allan Poe alongside the local spirit of Mary Coyle Chase. Tickets to attend Victorian Horrors are available with admission times every 15 minutes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Monster DASH
DENVER & LOUISVILLE — The 13th annual Monster DASH will be held in two locations this weekend. The event features a 10K run, 5K run, and kids race. The race is back at Sloan Lake Park in Denver after a three-year break. The Denver race begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Louisville will have a race at 3 p.m. Sunday at Community Park in old downtown. Foundry Halloween 5K
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Foundry in Steamboat Springs is again hosting a fun 5K Halloween race at 9 a.m. Saturday. The family is encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes. The race will start at Soda Creek Elementary School and take place on a mix of trail and road. After the race, there will be bobbing for apples, face painting, games and Halloween treats. Race registration is available online and day-of at Soda Creek Elementary.
Deck the Mall
BOULDER — The Deck the Mall arts and crafts festival will be held on the Pearl Street Mall on Saturday and Sunday. Attendees can kick off the holiday season with holiday cheer and festivities. There will be a variety of one of-a-kind seasonal items, unique holiday gifts, and handmade treasures crafted by local artisans. This free holiday shopping fair will have live music from Derek Demuth and Ryan Flores.

The Cherry Orchard
GOLDEN — Miners Alley Playhouse's latest theatrical production is "The Cherry Orchard: A Comedy in Four Acts" by Anton Chekhov in a new version by Stephen Karam. Miners Alley’s interpretation is set to captivate audiences through its exploration of human nature, societal changes, and the passage of time with a funny and bittersweet undertone. "The Cherry Orchard" is set to run through Sunday, Nov. 5, at Miners Alley Playhouse.
Cadillac Crew
AURORA — "Cadillac Crew" has opened at Vintage Theatre in Aurora. "Cadillac Crew" reclaims the stories of the forgotten leaders who blazed the trail for desegregation and women’s rights. In a movie match-up almost as unlikely as “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” Martin Scorsese took on Taylor Swift in cinemas last weekend. While the box office belonged for a second time to “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” got off to a strong start for Apple Studios.
